Background
About Us
The Center for Development of Legal Services & Policy Standards (CDLSP), is a non-government, national legal aid, Campaigns-awareness & Research-based organization in Bangladesh. Precisely, It works in the human rights organization. Also, CDLSP provides international legal services for development with set up the policy standards & campaigning for the people who are suffering from various legal issues.
Background
On the occasion of the golden jubilee of Bangladesh and by crossing the longest path, it has gained fame and respect in the world, but it is still far behind in the proper implementation of law and justice system. CDLSP has been established for the overall welfare of the people through the joint efforts of the young legal personalities of Bangladesh and the world. The organization commenced its expedition on February 2, 2022, with the aim of implementing the law, providing development and Legal services, and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Similarly, the organization is a non-political organization and does not support any communal consciousness. It will play an invaluable role in both the national and international arenas which is beneficial for the next generation. CDLSP is a role model for the next generation that will contribute to the smooth development and sustainable development of the work of the youth in the future and the organization will take firm action against any injustice that will be included in their goals. CDLSP’s slogan is “Be voiceful against Injustice”.
It is one of the leading human rights organizations in Bangladesh along with the whole around the world and it is highly vigorous in issues of legal and social support to the disempowered, incredibly women, working children, and workers as well as imperiling human rights invectives by Bangladeshi security forces. It consults with Amnesty International and the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). The Center for Development of Legal Services & policy standards was established by well-known Bangladeshi & International lawyers and other Legal specialists in 2022.
The organization provides legal and social support to the disempowered, incredibly women, working children, and workers. Its purpose is to formulate a society based on equality, social and gender justice, and rule of law. It seeks to develop an environment for accountability and transparency in powerful nations.
CDLSP is under processing registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Bangladesh under the Societies Registration Act, XXI in 1986. It was accorded special consultative status with ECOSOC in 1998 and It is affiliated with the International organizations as part of a supportive body.
